BUNAC offer both paid work and volunteer opportunities around the world.
The placements
You have the option of taking part in worthwhile and rewarding overseas volunteer placements based upon your own skills, experience and knowledge. Placements vary, but in the past have included raising awareness of HIV/AIDS in Africa, teaching street children in South America and working in community projects in South-East Asia.
BUNAC also offer the opportunity to spend an extended period of time working and travelling abroad for up to 12 months. Visas to both Canada and New Zealand for British citizens up to 30 and 35 years old respectively can be obtained exclusively through BUNAC.

How long?
You could take part in a BUNAC overseas teach or volunteer programme from between 5 weeks to 12 months, with departure dates throughout the year.
Pricing
As a not-for-profit organisation, BUNAC aim to offer an affordable experience to all participants. Volunteer programmes range in cost from £250 for 12 weeks on Volunteer USA (includes pre-departure advice and support, transport to projects, accommodation and food costs), to £1,665 for 12 months on Teach and Travel China (includes visa processing, residential TEFL course in Beijing, ongoing support, accommodation and meals).

BUNAC is a non-profit, non-political members club that has been offering overseas cultural exchange opportunities since 1962. BUNAC is also a founder member of the Year Out Group and adheres to the Year Out Group Code of Practice and the Members’ Charter.
