Caprivi Bush Experiences offers accredited field guide, game ranger and nature training courses in northern Namibia. This is the perfect stepping stone into this rewarding industry.

The courses

Participants in the accredited training courses will receive the highest standard of training from the hugely experienced instructors that have experience in some of Africa’s most renound national parks and game reserves.

The qualification gained is FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa) Level 1 which is the entry level required into a career in the Field Guide industry. The conservation and game ranger experience projects will provide participants with unforgettable hands-on experience in one of Africa’s last remaining wild environments.

All practical aspects of the programmes are conducted either on foot, 4x4 vehicle or boat, providing close up encounters to some of the most beautiful and intriguing wildlife on earth.

The programmes are both practical and theoretically rich providing a whole and fulfilling experience. Set against the stunning scenery of Namibia’s fertile Caprivi region all participants will take away with them practical skills, theoretical knowledge and memories that will stay will them forever.

Locations

Namibia, Caprivi Region.

Accommodation is located at Caprivi Bush Experiences camp on the banks of the beautiful Kwando River, adjacent to Bwabwata National Park. Comfortable, furnished and spacious tents are provided with clean linen and protection from mosquitoes. There is running hot and cold water with shower facilities. It is a very peaceful place to relax and socialise after an exciting day in the bush.

How long?

Courses run for 2-6 weeks, and can be combined to create longer, more diverse experiences.

Prices include all transfers, accommodation, meals, theoretical and practical instruction, books and stationary and FGASA exam and accreditation fees. And, of course, great fun and an awesome experience.
