EF English First offers courses for you to learn how to teach English abroad, as a foreign language, plus a guaranteed TEFL job abroad.
The placements
Teaching English abroad allows you the opportunity to change the lives of hundreds of students, by increasing their chance of securing a place in university or a job or promotion they have set their sites on. With younger learners you will be equipping them with essential skills for an increasingly globalised world. As well as imparting knowledge you will also be learning and adapting to life in a culture completely different to your own.
Depending on where you do your training, you can get one of the following internationally-recognised qualifications:
- an EF Certificate in TEFL
- the Trinity Cert. TESOL
- Cambridge CELTA
Courses are part-subsidised by EF, which means that the costs of training are lower than most other TEFL course providers. If you pass your course, you are guaranteed a job in an EF school.
