Global Vision International

Global Vision International (GVI) organise volunteer placements worldwide, focusing on conservation and community development.

The placements

Volunteer projects range from marine conservation projects in Africa, Mexico and the Seychelles, to community projects in Latin America and Asia, to conservation expeditions in Patagonia and the Amazon. There are also four projects in Europe now available, in the fields of wildlife conservation and caring for children. GVI have also recently launched a project working with koalas in Australia.

You will contribute directly to valuable scientific research or community development, and gain excellent hands-on experience with full training and support.

No previous experience is necessary, as full training is given. While GVI's priority is the success of the project, it is your contribution that ultimately achieves this very success. GVI expeditions are designed with you, the volunteer, in mind. They incorporate worthwhile, pioneering projects with dramatic locations, excellent training and fun, professional staff.

About Global Vision International

Global Vision International (GVI) was formed in 1998 to provide support and services to international charities, non-profits and governmental agencies. Through an international network of over 100 personnel in over 30 countries, GVI continues to support many of the most critical conservation and humanitarian projects around the globe.

Some of our international partners and beneficiaries include The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund (International), Rainforest Concern, The Endangered Wildlife Trust and the South African National Parks.

GVI is a non-political, non-religious organisation, which, through its alliance with aid-reliant organisations throughout the world, provides opportunities to volunteers to fill a critical void in the fields of environmental research, conservation, education and community development. Over 5,000 volunteers have joined projects resulting in the direct financial support of over £2.5 million.
