The International Academy operates ski and snowboard instructor training courses in partnership with the resident ski & snowboard schools in world class resorts that lead to recognised instructor qualifications.
The courses
The International Academy courses are ideally suited to people on a gap year or looking for career break, as there are great opportunities worldwide for certified ski and snowboard instructors. Through approximately 20 hours of instruction (typically Monday-Thursday), the courses will enable you to develop your technical and teaching skills in the activity you enjoy and gain recognised CSIA/CASI/NZSIA qualifications. Training is provided by top level instructors, with the emphasis on personal development and the improvement of your technical and teaching skills.
The courses could potentially be a life-changing experience for you and lead to a new career in snowsports instruction. Many people who have completed a course have returned to the resort where they trained to work as an instructor, whereas others have gained employment at other resorts around the world. The International Academy can also guarantee jobs as an instructor in Austria.
