Peak Leaders provides snowboard and ski instructor courses in various locations around the world.

The courses

Designed to make the most of your career break, Peak Leaders gives you the chance to gain internationally-recognised instructor qualifications. There is an excellent standard of coaching with minimum 20 hours per week. A typical day could include 4 hours' training in the morning followed by time to chill, hit the park, or go and watch an ice hockey match - there's always something going on!

Peak Leaders also offers a host of other qualifications, including backcountry/avalanche awareness, first aid, and ILM Level 3.

The accommodation has been carefully chosen, with catered food, comfortable hotels, houses and apartments in central locations.

Some of the courses offer work within the ski or snowboard school after successful completion of exams. Peak Leaders has an excellent network of contacts within the industry to help you find a job on completion of your courses.

How long?

Courses range from 4 – 12 weeks.
Throughout the winter courses start in November, December and January.
Southern Hemisphere courses start in July.
The autumn course starts in September and finishes in November.

Pricing

Courses range from £3,000 to £7,250 dependant on length of course. It includes accommodation, expert coaching, first aid, freestyle modules, avalanche awareness, assistance with finding a job, plus lots of other options specific to each course.

About Peak Leaders

Peak Leaders has provided instructor courses for over 8 years and is a member of the Year Out Group. As an accredited ILM training centre, Peak Leaders offer the Level 3 Leadership qualification on all of the courses. This is designed to help everyone improve their performance either in charge of, or with, a team. These additional skills learnt whilst gaining your instructor qualification put you in a very strong position to further your career within the industry.

Peak Leaders now buys carbon credits from Plan Vivo that not only offset some of the CO2 emissions clocked up flying globally as a company but also help communities invest in their own future.
