The placements

For career sabbatical leapers, The Leap recommends:

  • Mini Leap – Fantastic if you only have 2 or 3 weeks to spare and crave all the ingredients of an adventurous holiday with the opportunity to get stuck into local conservation and community projects.
  • Safari Leap – Volunteer to work in Africa’s most exclusive tented camps. Be part of the colourful safari teams getting the show on the road, doing everything from setting up bush breakfasts, organizing safaris, escorting guests on horse back across the savannah and problem solving around broken generators!
  • Team Leap – Join a team to help on small scale but highly effective development projects around the world. Experience community, conservation and eco tourism projects in your adventure providing a variety of challenges and experiences.
  • Sports Leap – Destinations on three different continents and activities including riding, trekking, white water rafting, paragliding, sailing and polo.

  • Mini Leap: from £795 for 2 weeks
  • Safari Leap: £2,400 for 3 months
  • Team Leap: from £2,500 for 10 weeks

Each member of the team has taken a gap year or career break themselves, so are well placed to help you with yours.
