Trek America is an adventure travel company, organising treks in the Americas and Australia/New Zealand.

The tours

Trek America tours are small, fun and flexible. Whatever tour you choose, there are lots of optional activities to enjoy – from nature walking to gold-panning to country and western dancing! You also have a flexible itinerary, which includes 2- or 3-night stops in some places, so you're not rushing through. Accommodation ranges from camping to hostels, motels and hotels, depending on where you are (you are provided with all camping equipment except a sleeping bag). The focus is on getting off the beaten track, away from conventional tourists, so you get to see things you might otherwise miss.

In Central and South America Trek America works with local suppliers, giving you the chance to experience more of the local culture while you see historic sites and monuments. It also contributes to the local economy.

Trek America do both winter and summer tours in the USA , Canada, and Central and South America, and all year in Australia. Tours last from 1-6 weeks.

At 33 years old, Trek America is the oldest adventure camping tour operator, as well as the largest. They focus on flexibility, value for money, and responsible travel.
