The placements

On a Volunteering Solutions placement, you get the chance to experience the local culture first-hand. Volunteer projects are designed to be meaningful to the local community as well as to you, to ensure you are making a tangible difference to other people's lives. You can volunteer in:

Opportunities to teach English to disadvantaged people are also available.

Travel packages can be added to the beginning or end of your volunteer placement. There are a variety to choose from, including yoga and rafting experiences, nature-lovers tours and cultural activities.

How long?

From 2 weeks to six months. Start dates are year-round.

Pricing

From around £230 for 2 weeks, to around £800 for 8 weeks, depending on what project you choose and where you volunteer. There is also an application fee of £104 for any project.

Your fee includes 2-3 meals a day (depending on the project), accommodation (in a host family or with the organisation), insurance, transfers and 24-hour in-country support. Flights and visas are not included.

Special offers

If you raise funds for children in the Indian and Nepalese orphanages, Volunteering Solutions will give you a 20% discount on your programme fee. Group and couple discounts are also available on travel packages.
