Come and be inspired, challenged and grown to build a more humane society.

Whether you’re interested in living and working in a Christian community to build a better world or contemplating a career in Health and Social Care and want to gain unique skills, a career break volunteering with vulnerable adults could be for you.

You will come to be part of the oldest L'Arche Community in the UK. L’Arche Kent is based in the historic city of Canterbury and its surrounding countryside since 1974. You will be part of a 140 strong Christian community, comprising people with and without learning disabilities: employed, volunteers and friends.

You will be helping people with learning disabilities live independent yet connected lives. You will be a key part of developing and shaping a future of professional care and support in a faith-based setting.
