teaching in China
The Great Wall of China

You will teach English as part of a set programme to students of all ages in schools, language schools and universities.

You'll be working about 20 hours a week teaching and spending some 15 hours a week on administrative duties. You'll need a degree, a TEFL certificate, plus 2 years of relevant work experience, and obviously, being able to speak English clearly is a must. This programme is open to all ages, but please note that some schools impose an upper age limit of 60.

Oyster Worldwide will help you with your entry requirements to China as part of organising your placement. You will normally be working for 10 to 12 months, but some 6 month placements are available. The jobs are all in cities, but you will have the chance to travel during your free time and after your placement (if there's enough time left on your visa!)
